Visit Wissembourg is the domain name through which the Association Wissembourg Animation (AWA) presents its activities and offers private individuals or professionals the possibility to reserve seats under certain conditions.

In its website Visit-Wissembourg, AWA informs customers about its activities and offers them the opportunity to book advance seats on the mini-train, guided tours or tickets for other events.

The reservation is subject to certain conditions:

Mini train:  booking is possible only for adult groups or school trips with a minimum number of 15 people and a maximum of 60 passengers (adults plus children).

For smaller groups, tickets must be bought on the mini-train directly from the driver.

Guided tours: there 's no minimum number of people. However the group may not exceed 60 people. For bigger groups it will be necessary to book an additional guide.

For the other activities, conditions will be determined at time of booking.

Rates: Rates are displayed and normally fixed for a season. However they may be modified during the season owing to substantial changes in the criteria set to determine them, such as the price of fuel, taxes, wages .... They are not negotiable.

Payment: Customers can pay by any means available to them, namely:

  • online through paypal when reservation is made
  • at any time or when starting the activity
  • by credit card, cash or voucher. Payment should however intervene before the beginning of the activity.

In case of non payment, AWA may unilaterally decide not to provide the services requested.

Termination / adjustment:

Customers can, at any time up to 7 days before the event, terminate or modify their order. Overcharge will be refunded.

For orders cancelled within 7 days until 72 hours before the scheduled activity, 50% of the bill will be retained or charged.  From 72 hours before the scheduled activity, the total amount of the order will be retained or invoiced.

Force Majeure: The company AWA will not bear responsibility of the non-performance of its obligations in case of force majeure within the terms of Article 1148 of the Civil Code, i.e.non-performance due to any unforeseeable and irresistible event.

Disputes: in case of disputes, only French law applies. Should there be no amicable settlement, the dispute will be brought before the Commercial Court in Strasbourg.
